Put Your Records On

But this didn’t feel like magic. It felt a lot older than that. It felt like music.

Terry Pratchett, Soul Music

Every other week or so Krystal and I hit up the local thrift shops and antique malls looking for cosplay materials and anything else that might catch our eye.

I always look through the vinyl, and I must admit I have a very hard time passing up any recording of Rhapsody in Blue.

I’m not necessarily looking for anything in particular, just whatever looks interesting.

I love music; that should come as no surprise. And while certain songs might top the charts, albums – taken as a whole – are a different matter entirely. My top four albums ever released are:

John Coltrane: A Love Supreme

Creedence Clearwater Revival: Chronicle

My Chemical Romance: Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

Carole King: Tapestry
