Running In My Head 
I could apply the same attributes to dogs…my Pippa especially. Begging for attention, hair everywhere, and if she wasn’t so emotional and tenderhearted and fretful over the presence of other dogs, I’d get her a brother.
Also Pippa sometimes goes with me in the car…as do books, sometimes.
