It’s opening weekend of The Laramie Project and so my spare time since Monday has been practically nonexistent. Here’s what’s been going on:
- Work has been good this week, and I even took some PTO to have time to rest before/after our preview show and opening weekend. So yes, I still have to work tomorrow/Monday, but I can go in late.
- My Vampurr Pusheen stuffie arrived – and she is even cuter than in the photos!
- My wife went shopping and found a vest on clearance and said that while she liked it, she also thought it would look better on me.
- I had the opportunity to dogsit my canine friend, Luna.
- The preview night and opening shows of The Laramie Project have gone well with reactions being positive. It’s a strange thing to ask if someone enjoyed a play meant to make them uncomfortable, but the audiences so far have been very very appreciative.
- Three of my coworkers came to our show last night (Saturday) and one of them brought me flowers. Not only are they in my beloved autumn colors, but I think these are the first flowers I’ve ever received!
- Two tropical storms (maybe hurricanes by this point?) are off the coast bringing rain, but the models keep changing and we really don’t know what to expect. Would I mind a day off work tomorrow? No, but I’d like to know today so I know if I actually need to set an alarm or not.

How are you? What have you been up to?
