Labor Day 2024

It’s Labor Day and I have the day off. Twelfth Night has wrapped and the stage struck, and afterwards the cast partied into the very early morning hours. I’ve had coffee cand apple pie and some toast as the post-show recovery begins. I’m starting to watch fall-themed shows while doing some light housework that has piled up over the last three weeks thanks to rehearsals and shows. Orange Cat Energy

It’s Ginger Cat Appreciation Day! Those lovable furballs with Orange Cat Energy may be a little chaotic, overly affectionate, and may not be the brightest, but that’s what makes them so special. Give your ginger kitty some extra love today; after all, it’s hard work sharing one brain cell! 😸

Frankenstein Day

It’s Frankenstein Day, commemorating Mary Shelley’s birthday and the publication of her novel “Frankenstein”; written when Mary Shelley had it up to here with men (looking at you, Byron and Percy Shelley) and invented a new genre of literature (suck it, misogynists). Thoughtful Day

It’s Thoughtful Thursday – since 1988, today has been about showing kindness, spreading positivity, lending a helping hand, or simply practicing gratitude. Let’s make today a little brighter for everyone around us. After all, seemingly small acts of thoughtfulness can make a big difference!

Radio Commercial Day

It’s radio commercial day – the day for acknowledging those sometimes clever but often annoying jingles we pay good money to skip on streaming services. But when the signal fades and we’re reduced to the dial, the ads are there waiting for us. Do you have a memorable commercial to share?
