Happy Donut Day – the day that’s all about grabbing your favorite donut and enjoying every bite. My personal favorites are blueberry cake, Boston cream, and lemon filled. Also, Dunkin in infinitely superior to Krispy Kreme. What are your favorite donuts or controversial donut opinions?

It’s World Cider Day. I once picked apples for an orchard to make cider; I don’t think I was very good at it, though. Nevertheless, whether you enjoy it hot or chilled, crisp and dry, sweet and fruity, or with a hint of spice, celebrate today by raising a glass of your favorite cider!
It’s Rocky Road Day, and while I know quite a few unkempt back roads, today is all about the ice cream, which is itself kinda like life: smooth and bumpy, sweet and crunchy, somewhat bitter but mostly sweet, and often containing nuts.
It’s International Hamburger Day! I love a good burger; if you scroll my blog, you’ll see many burgers from the Bob’s Burgers cookbook, but my favorite burger was one I made for our D&D group, which I named the Critical Hit. How do you like your burgers?
