Hunker Down

I’ve tried writing this weekly update several times and I just can’t. I can’t bring myself to write about everyday things with so many bad things happening right now – all I feel is right now is sadness and rage. There’s a winter storm bringing ice (ah the irony) that has shut down major roadways, so it’s not safe to drive anywhere (ah the irony). I’m going to spend the next several hours prepping for the return of our Cyberpunk: Red campaign and then it’ll be time to spend time with friends telling stories. Maybe tomorrow I’ll have a work delay – who knows?

I won’t lecture you about what you should be doing in the face of evil; you already know what’s right.

Talk to you next time.

Take a Picture

So here I am on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It’s a cold rain, but not cold enough to be ice or snow, which is just as well – a wintry day spent indoors is doubly enjoyable if it’s a true Snow Day, and since it’s a long holiday weekend I’m already off work tomorrow. Part of that is because I caught whatever that virus is going around and ended up sick and isolated for three or four days and then almost immediately transitioning into winter break. But I’m feeling better now, so let’s get some comforting drinks and chat about what’s been going on.

I Get Knocked Down

This week I got sick for four days and now I’m recovering. During that time I accidentally threw away my dvd remote and wrote an essay in my notes app about being nonbinary. Maybe one day I’ll share it or post it somewhere. And I’ll fill you in on all the other stuff next time!
