It’s Paper Clip Day! Whether you’re organizing documents, unclogging a bottle of glue, hitting the reset button on one of your devices, or cleaning your ears (but why are you doing that?!), take a moment to appreciate the paperclip. And yes, even send Clippy some love.

Today on Towel Day let us remember the words of Douglas Adams: “If you want to survive out here, you’ve got to know where your towel is . . . A towel… is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have … any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.”
The calendar says summer begins on June 20; society says summer starts with Memorial Day; my work says summer starts tomorrow. That’s when our summer hours begin. But before we get to that, let’s look back at the week that was.

I’ll be honest right up front: the last half of this last week has not been the best for me mentally. I’m okay, just understand that this post might not be as upbeat as normal. Then again, maybe it will be, and the writing of this post will be good for all of us. Anyway, I have pizza and chips and a ginger ale and Scooby Doo Meets Laurel and Hardy is playing on the TV so let’s sit down and chat a bit.
