Sea Turtle Day
It’s World Sea Turtle Day! Despite their name, sea turtles spend most of their time in water but tend to stay close to land and navigate the waters using Earth’s magnetic fields. Since sea turtles can live to be 100 years old or more, let’s do our part to ensure they reach a ripe old age.
Megalodon Day
It’s National Megalodon Day! You can observe today by watching The Meg or The Meg 2, and if you’re at the beach or deep sea fishing, be glad this colossal shark isn’t swimming beneath you. Or is it . . . ? I have a healthy respect for the open water; megalodons will never bother me.
