When life gives you lemons, make lemonade – and by happy coincidence today is Lemonade Day! Whether you like it classic, pink, sparkling, or hard – or even mixed into an Arnold Palmer (like I do) – raise a glass of this tangy-sweet treat that’s hard to beat.
Sometimes we just need to think and breathe, and there’s no better time than today – it’s World Labyrinth Day. As you follow the path’s gentle curves, take time to meditate on just how amazing life can be.
It’s okay to toot your own horn, especially if it’s a tuba: it’s Tuba Day! Spare a thought for tubists all around the world who deal with the hassle of handling a tuba: the size, the weight, the stereotypes . . .

It’s World Carnivorous Plant Day! I am privileged to live where the Venus Fly Trap grows naturally, but elsewhere in the world there’s also plants like butterwort, cobra lily, pitcher plant, sundew, monkey cup, and bladderwort. These types of plants typically feed on insects, but beware any plant found during a total eclipse asking you (in song) to feed it . . .
