Back Among the Living

Well, here we are and it’s been another two weeks, but I have a very good reason for not writin! last Sunday. We’ll get to that, I promise. But today it’s a fine autum October day and I’ve got my fireplace DVD playing while I listen to podcasts and my hair up in a towel because just got out of the shower. If you’re okay with all that, come on in and have a seat. I’ll get us something to drink while we chat about what all been’s going on.

Table for One at the Crow Bar

It’s Sunday afternoon and it’s been a lazy-aesthetic kind of day. I’ve done the laundry and cleaned the kitchen and I’m just now getting around to putting on clothes that are not pajamas. I’ve made some hot cider and there’s enough for two, if you want some, so let’s sit down, sip something warm, and do a little weekly recap.

Sunday with Billy Shakes’ Pear

It’s the first full weekend in September and our production of Twelfth Night has wrapped and the stage is struck and I promised I would be back to my normal posting schedule and so here we are. It’s a rainy September weekend and I have a summer/fall crossover simmer pot on the stove and I’m catching up on podcasts while I type – it’s about time to break out the fireplace DVDs for ambiance – and it feels good to be back while also feeling a tad overwhelming after being gone for so long.
