Here Comes Summer, I Guess

Summer Hours

This last week went by in a blur. It was Commencement Week at work, which meant I spent Monday-Wednesday in preparations, Thursday in rehearsal, and Friday doing my part to make sure the event itself went off smoothly as possible. In that regard, I hauled a lot of ice in coolers to various points around campus. I also recall saying I would talk more about last weekend, and since I never got around to it, I think now’s as good a time as any.

If On A Winter’s Night (and Day)

Yesterday I discovered that the blankets are never warmer than the day you have to go back to work after being closed for nearly a week due to winter weather.

Last night remained cold and wet and rainy and if it were a few degrees colder we’d be seeing ice and snow.

It was the perfect night to watch the new Wallace and Gromit film, Vengeance Most Fowl, and sip some hot cider (from a mix packet)
