It’s “Punk for a Day” day, and so I did the punk thing of voting against authoritarianism, fascism, nazism, and militaristic/religious nationalism.
I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love? More like, “you brought me a ballot, I brought you my vote”
It’s the first full weekend in September and our production of Twelfth Night has wrapped and the stage is struck and I promised I would be back to my normal posting schedule and so here we are. It’s a rainy September weekend and I have a summer/fall crossover simmer pot on the stove and I’m catching up on podcasts while I type – it’s about time to break out the fireplace DVDs for ambiance – and it feels good to be back while also feeling a tad overwhelming after being gone for so long.

So, with last Thursday being the Fourth of July here in the US, and with my work currently closed on Fridays for our summer hours, I took Wednesday as a personal day for a kind of five-day mini vacation. As that comes to an end this evening let’s find a cool place to sit, pour ourselves a refreshing beverage, and chat about the week that seemed to go all to fast.
