It’s Monday and I haven’t had my coffee.

I arrive at work early enough to be the first one there.

I do this on purpose to make the coffee and have some downtime.

I read.

I write.

I grade papers.

I listen to podcasts.

However, this can also be dangerous for the creative process.

Inspired by a submission to the Prompt Box, I began designing a business card during my lunch break.

In my notebook.

Which I left on my desk as I left on Friday.

Now, I could have driven back and picked it up, but that doesn’t change the fact I left something important to my weekend plans at work.

Luckily, I remember what it kinda-sorta looked like.

We’ll see how close I came in a few minutes.
