Bobs Burgers Review: Cheeses is Born

It’s a Sunday Morning day of the week, and that can only mean one thing: last night two weeks a few weeks ago on a Saturday, I made and ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series Bob’s BurgersBobsBurgers

The Cheeses is Born Burger [S5:E6 “Father of the Bob”]

About the Episode – Bob, Linda, and the kids go to Bob’s dads burger joint for Christmas, with the understanding the Bob won’t have to spend more than 15 minutes with him. The kids get busy in the basement making presents out of junk, and Bob is forced to cook with his dad for the first time in years. We finally understand the exact nature of their falling out.

About the Burger– This is a whammy of a cheeseburger. The meat itself is mixed with spicy brown mustard and the cooked burger topped with both Jarlsburg and baby Swiss cheese and diced Roma tomatoes – and smothered with delicious brown gravy.

The Response

Two different cheeses and brown gravy? What’s not to like!?

We both loved this burger and gave it

Come back next week, when we’ll try a new, as-yet-to-be-determined burger!

  1. We are watching all the holiday Bob’s Burgers episodes. Our favourite one was the gingerbread houses/caroling. Today we might be watching this one.
This burger sounds amazing, with onions. Hubby says the gravy doesn’t sound good but to me it’s a cross between burger and salisbury steak. Might make mashed instead of fries
