Saturday Morning Coffee

Hello, friends! I’m so glad you stopped by for coffee; let’s chat.

This week has been a good one.

I added several thousand words to my WIP.

Smokey is well enough to be back up to his old tricks.

My running this week took a hit timewise as the humidity was high enough I’m fairly certain I saw a neighbor taking his fish out for a walk. I also ran three miles less than I’d planned. Ah well.

Whats new with you?

  1. I am glad to hear that Smokey is getting better.

The week has passed by pretty fast although not that much has happened. I am renovating my gaming and books room (adding some more posters and new book shelves). This is takling some time but I successfully managed to build up the first shelf all by myself although it is taller than me. Honestly, being smaller than me probably is more challenging. It is a good feeling though since I am not that talented with tools and things like that 🙂
Yesterday has been the highlight of my whole week. I had the pleasure to experience the fascination that occurs while watching a total lunar eclipse.

I am pretty sure that you will keep up with your running once the outsides are cooling down a little. Health should be more important than over enthusiastic ambition after all.

Until then, let’s take a sip from our cups and enjoy the black liquids running down our throats …. even though that sounds a little weird – even to me.
Do you usually add sugar or milk to your coffee?

    Enjoy your weekend, Jay.

  2. We did spring cleaning in July. Why? Because the earlier part of the year was entirely too chaotic. But the house is shining clean, both upstairs and downstairs (well, except for my writing room which is always in a perpetual state of mess and stacks of books and papers). We also had haircuts and yearly doctor visits, both of which went well. And now it’s Saturday and I need a nap… oh, yea. I forgot. Already took several this week.
