I LOVE the purple ones..not only do they taste great but they make a darn good lilac dye!

Ohh I hadn’t thought of dye before!! Can you tell me how you use it?

melt them in boiling water, then strain the water through a cheesecloth to get the sugary bits. then just soak your NATURAL material overnight in the water. I generally use 20 beans per gallon of water and want a good two gallons per pound of material. Lots of other beans to eat unless you get a pound of just one color at a candy shop. The black ones make a deep deep purple, the red ones go pick…and if you put the orange and yellow ones together with ONE red one you get peach…more than you wanted to know? lol
