Dang I almost forgot my daily holiday and today it’s root beer float day. Sure there’s the classic with vanilla ice cream, but what about something more exotic like root beer and mint chocolate chip? That’s one of my favorite. Raise a frosty mug to fizzy deliciousness!
Mead Day! Raise a glass (or quaff a drinking horn) to the ancient and delightful honey-based brew (save the bees, y’all!). Whether a home brewer, long-time enthusiast, or just mead-curious, let’s celebrate the rich history, unique flavors, and sweet taste of tradition!
It’s National Refreshment Day, celebrating the refreshing flavors of summer. Whether sipping on cold beer, (sweet) iced tea, tart & tangy lemonade, or perfectly bubbly soda, take a moment to relax and savor the taste of summer – maybe with a hot dog. Cheers to refreshing moments on hot summer days!
So, with last Thursday being the Fourth of July here in the US, and with my work currently closed on Fridays for our summer hours, I took Wednesday as a personal day for a kind of five-day mini vacation. As that comes to an end this evening let’s find a cool place to sit, pour ourselves a refreshing beverage, and chat about the week that seemed to go all to fast.
