Dang I almost forgot my daily holiday and today it’s root beer float day. Sure there’s the classic with vanilla ice cream, but what about something more exotic like root beer and mint chocolate chip? That’s one of my favorite. Raise a frosty mug to fizzy deliciousness!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! There’s nothing like fresh cookies to bring back warm memories. Whether you like them thin and crispy or thick and chewy and filled with gooey chocolate goodness, enjoy a chocolate chip cookie or two (or three. or the entire sleeve – I won’t judge). Don’t forget the milk!
Mead Day! Raise a glass (or quaff a drinking horn) to the ancient and delightful honey-based brew (save the bees, y’all!). Whether a home brewer, long-time enthusiast, or just mead-curious, let’s celebrate the rich history, unique flavors, and sweet taste of tradition!
Pusheen wishes you a happy Avocado Day and hopes you can celebrate with some creamy, delicious avocado goodness on toast, in a salad or sandwich, as guacamole, on a hamburger, or even straight from a single-serve tub! It won’t break the bank, no matter what folks of a certain generation say.
Today has been a sensory overload day, but there’s still a few hour left to pull a Golden Girls and celebrate the combined holidays of Friendship Day and Cheesecake Day with a decadent slice enjoyed in the kitchen with good company.
It’s Cheese Sacrifice Purchase Day – forget cheese in mousetraps; buy cheese to use in a new recipe, get a really expensive cheese, or finally plunk down the cheddar to try one you’ve always wanted to experience. Things don’t work out? That’s okay. The cheese understands; it does not judge.
