In the spring a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.
It’s Monday and I haven’t had my coffee.
Also in the spring, my sinuses turn towards thoughts of allergies.
pressure buildup
headaches
bloody noses
cough
fever
Wait, what?
Allergies and and spring cold at the same time?!
Thank you, Nature!
Not.
At least now I know what’s wrong, so I can get some medicine.
Just as long as it’s not like that cough medicine I got back in college.
You know, the cheap, off-brand stuff sold in the Campus Store. Something like “Mr. Sniffy’s Good Night Cough Serum.”I took that stuff and couldn’t remember the next three days of my life.
I didn’t go to hospital, my friends said I was the life of the party, and I gave my best speech of the entire semester – too bad I didn’t remember giving it or what it was supposed to be about.
I often wonder what happened those three days . . .
What’s annoying you today?
Got up to one of those “incoming storm headaches” and a soggy backyard which is so annoying that the dog is fed up and has to be shoved out….and it dripped, dripped dripped all day long…but wait – a glimpse of sun.

I forgot you’ve had quite a bit of rain; have things been drying out for you?

We’ve had rain everyday, but not as many heavy slow storms. The rivers and bayous are back in banks and the Corps of engineers are gradually releasing water from two holding but very full earthen dams. Drizzle the entire day today. …even the dog is reluctant to move off the couch. But finally some sun and clearing. They say the jet stream is moving back into normal patterns, so maybe our spring rains are slowing down.
Denver, CO is still having snow and some of the ski slopes are open! What a year ( but not all that unusual for El Nino years)

I’ve got friends in Denver who’ve been keeping me updated on the “snain” and “sneet”
