  1. I always thought we would stay together. I got scared and ripped the Band-aid off quick. I love how you talk to me, the leonine way your taut muscles ripple on your back, the short hairs on the nape of your neck.

  2. From the Old French word leonin ,

or from the Classical Latin leoninus,

    regardless of it’s beginning

you, dear man, are its end

with your hair so long and gold

    muscles rippling, growl emitting,

you are a lion among men.
