It’s a Sunday Morning day of the week, and that can only mean one thing: last night two weeks a few weeks ago on a Saturday, I made and ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series Bob’s Burgers.
The Hummus a Tune Burger [S4:E18 “Ambergris”]
About the Episode – When the kids find a rather large lump of ambergris on the beach, opinions are divided on what to do with it. Gene wants to eat it, Tina wants to turn it in to some sort of ambergris police, and Louise wants to sell it on the black market for thousands of dollars in cold, hard cash. I *wonder* whose plan will take the day.
About the Burger– This book continues to challenge me – this time I made my own garlicky hummus! In addition to the hummus, the burger was topped with roasted red peppers (yum!) .
The Response
Krystal liked the burger, for the most part. She found the hummus a bit too chunky for her liking, and part of one of her burgers was overdone. That was my fault, though, as this burger didn’t have cheese on it I changed my cooking method halfway through. Now I know not to do that.
I liked the burger just fine, but didn’t feel there was anything to make it stand out.
Overall, we gave this burger
