It’s Sunday Morning, and that can only mean one thing: last night, I ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series Bob’s Burgers.
The Garden of Eden Burger [S5:E10 “Midnight in the Garden of Bob and Louise”]
About the Episode – After being rejected – again- for inclusion in the Community Garden, Bob bribes his way in by hiring the coordinator’s son: Louise’s arch-nemesis, Logan. Bob’s “beauties” grow, but the restaurant is likely to go up in flames. Will he realize in time? Which is thicker: blood or dirt?
About the Burger– This burger was topped with caramelized onions, grilled Granny Smith apple rounds, and a spiced yogurt (yogurt with cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg).
The Response
We loved this burger – the tastes and textures worked perfectly (I made the burgers thinner than usual and used a mandolin to get thin apple rounds).
Overall, we gave this burger five stars.
Come back next week for the “Totally Radish Burger”!

From your description the burger sounds like it deserves five stars.

That was a fun episode, and the burger sounds good except the yogurt blend. I never could put cinnamon near any kind of meat.
Did you put anything on the apples before you grilled them?

I grilled them in the same pan as the burgers, so they got a good dose of those wonderful juices. It was all very good; reminiscent of some Mediterranean dishes I’ve had.
