Bob’s Burgers Review: Sneakin’ Celery Down the Alley

It’s Sunday morning, and that can only mean one thing: last night, I made and ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series, Bob’s Burgers.

The Sneakin’ Celery Down the Alley Burger [S8:E17 “As I Walk Through the Alley of the Shadow of Ramps”]

About the Episode

The kids declare a turf war when a smoothie truck disrupts the alley.

Linda tries to help her sister at her new art museum job, but things go horribly wrong.

About the Burger

The burger itself is normal: beef patty seasoned with salt & pepper.

I topped the burger with dill Havarti cheese and a cucumber-celery “slaw”.

Slaw Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sliced cucumber
  • Inner core of celery, both leaves and stalks, chopped (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1/4 cup parsley leaves, roughly chopped
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

To Make the Slaw:

  • Combine all ingredients
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

The Response

This burger proved to be a cool change of pace with nice textures.
