Bob’s Burgers Review: Sealed with a Swiss

It’s Sunday morning, and that can only mean one thing: last night, I made and ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series, Bob’s Burgers.

The Sealed with a Swiss Burger [S9:14 “Every Which Way But Goose”]

About the Episode

When Jimmy Jr. declines to ask Tina to prom, a walk in the park leads to an unhealthy obsession.

At the restaurant, Linda tries to get Gretchen a date, but her efforts start to go from “friend” to “fiend”. Will their relationship survive?

About the Burger

I seasoned the meat with minced garlic and onion and Worcestershire sauce and let it chill in the fridge for a few hours.

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, minced
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce

The patties got a salt and pepper treatment and as the patties finished cooking I melted a slice of Swiss cheese on top.

I flipped the burger upside down on a bun with mayo and baby spinach and put another slice of cheese on the “new” top.

The Response

Krystal took one bite and said “mmmm this is good.”

We had a guest for supper, and she said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

I thought it was one of the best burgers I’ve cooked.

So simple.

So tasty.

5 Stars

Come back next week when we’ll try a new, as-yet-to-be-determined burger!
