Once again it’s time to crown Wicked Word Wednesday Winner.

Maybe it was the holiday season, or year-end burnout, or something like that, but not many people participated in this last challenge. Ah well. Carrying on . . .

Anarchic romps held after dark, the quest for mania proceeds unfettered beneath the stars. A forest clearing, flickering flames,  Bacchic worshippers dancing, leaping, guzzling wine from leather gourds. Now blind intoxication, we turn on the sacrificial, tear limb from limb and devour

Girls stumbling on too-high heels.
Boys play-fighting, jumping into fountains.
Drunken kisses, knives with near misses.
Beer cans rolling, stomachs emptying.
Sirens nearing, handcuffs rattling.
Just another bacchanalian Christmas Eve in paradise.
