Pull up a chair and I’ll pour you a cup; fancy a bowl of BooBerry cereal while we chat?
After starting the week with an awful head cold and back spasms that laid me low, the week was fairly normal.
Students were in and out with a stomach virus I thankfully haven’t gotten . . . yet (knock on wood).
I stayed caught up on my book reading schedule, and now that I’m not maniacally trying to write a blog post every day I have more time to read and comment on other blogs – which has already increased the conversation level online.
Smokey continues to be Smokey, constantly begging for food or attention. Namely food, because he doesn’t have to beg for attention, he’ll simply insert himself wherever you are. This past week he’s sat on my head as I lay on the couch, jumped on the keyboard multiple times while I’m working at lesson plans &etc., and hopped on into the shower with me at least twice. I mean, Boo, I know your thirsty, but trust me – you do not want to drink this water.
While President Trump continues his merry march of mayhem – to the delight of some and dismay of others – I’m building my own wall: a privacy fence at my in-laws so their dog Indy can run and play outside. In fact, I should be finishing it today. We’ll see.

Posting less does have its benefits. I don’t write everyday anymore either and enjoy having “conversations” with other bloggers.
