After too many weeks away, I can finally say that it’s Monday Morning, and that can only mean one thing: Saturday night, I made and ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series Bob’s Burgers.
If Looks Could Kale Burger [S2:E7 “Moody Foodie”]
About the Episode – When a noted food critic declares Bob’s cheeseburger “dry and overdone”, the Belchers must fight to save the restaurant. While the kids come up with a brilliant coupon campaign, Bob as a much more . . . aggressive plan.
About the Burger– This cheeseburger was topped with gruyère cheese and crispy salted kale and served with a tomato & rosemary orzo. This was the first time I’ve dealt with cooking kale, so I was a bit nervous, but everything seemed to work out.
The Response
Krystal liked this burger, and said she liked it with the orzo as an additional topping.
I liked the burger, too, but felt that I could have done a better job on the kale. My pieces were a bit too chewy and salty for my taste.
Overall, we gave this burger
