Bob’s Burgers Review: One Yam Band

It’s Sunday Morning, and that can only mean one thing: last night, I made and ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series Bob’s Burgers. It also means that I’m finally caught up with my burger recaps.

The One Yam Band Burger [S2:E3 “Synchronized Swimming”]

About the Episode – Bob buys a soft serve ice cream machine, hoping it will be the summer game-changer. The kids try to get out of PE with an “independent study”. Linda struggles with how much help she gives the kids.

About the Burger– This burger had sautéed yams (in the US, sweet potatoes) and candied bacon on it. I also made up a batch of that delicious mayo from last time.

The Response

Somehow I ended up with underdone burgers, but even after fixing the that, there was nothing outstanding about this burger.

Overall, we gave it

3 Stars

Come back next week, when we’ll try a new, as-yet-to-be-determined burger!
