It’s Saturday! Let’s talk.
I know it’s summer break, but I haven’t exactly stopped working. I’m teaching two summer school classes that run through the end of June. The good news is that I’m done by noonish each day. The other good news is the extra pay I get for teaching the courses. Summer school will find our relatively small vacation.
In the old house I battled ants; in the new apartment sand fleas have risen to claim the rank of nemesis. At least now I have the time to wage war against them.
Today I’m doing laundry, catching up on my podcast listening, and working on my costume for July. I’m posting those pictures over on my Instagram. Today looks like I’ll be sewing buttons and maybe working on hat accoutrements.
Tonight we’re going to take a second stab at the “Poutine On The Ritz” burger, so we’ll see how that goes.
Hopefully it will stay dry for the next day or so. The ground is soaked and I need to run. I’ve got three 5Ks this summer and the marathon this fall.
Finally, if I read my stats correctly, this is my 1000th post!

So far so good, but there’s a chance of rain tomorrow. I don’t know what time, so hopefully it’s after my daily exercise.
