Bob’s Burgers Review: Rosemary’s Baby Spinach Burger

It’s Monday morning, and that can only mean one thing: Saturday night, I made and ate a hamburger. Specifically, a burger featured on the hit series, Bob’s Burgers.

Rosemary’s Baby Spinach Burger [S8:E11 “Sleeping with the Frenemy”]

About the Episode

When Tammy misses her cruise, Tina allows her to spend Spring Break with the Belchers – and even plays Cupid, setting up Tammy with Brett, a boy from out of town.

Meanwhile, Gene and Bob enlist the help of Dr. Yap in finding a replacement baby tooth to complete Linda’s collection after Gene loses his own.

About the Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb or so of ground beef
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 5 oz fresh baby spinach
  • Baby Swiss cheese

Directions

  • Mix rosemary, garlic, and beef together and form into patties
  • Grill as usual, about 6 minutes per side
  • In the last two minutes, top burger with the baby Swiss and tent burgers to aid melting.
  • Serve on buns with baby spinach

The Response

The burger was good, but might have used a little less rosemary or a bit more garlic. It could also have used something a bit more savory, perhaps a little Worcestershire?

Come back next week when we’ll try a new, as-yet-to-be-determined burger!
