Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, 2016

Yesterday was the 75th anniversary of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, an event which brought the United States into World War II. One of the men serving at Pearl on that day was my friend and “adopted grandfather” Chief (ret) Tom Poole, stationed on the North Carolina. Don’t Cross the Boundary

If you follow American news, you know a storm battered the Southeast this week. Krystal called it “a hurricane without the hurricane.” Schools shut down and businesses closed early as roads went underwater. On Monday, I took some video and photographs to make this montage:
