Yesterday was awful.
I went to work thinking my not feeling so well was due to a change in pressure systems.
It was not, and I ended up taking a sick day – my third or fourth in 8 years of teaching.
16 hours of misery followed by 10 hours of stone cold sleep, and I feel better.
Apart from feeling extremely hungry and a little light headed, that is. However, the two are probably related and definitely connected to the fact that I literally couldn’t keep anything down yesterday.
I’m back at work today, and all my students are asking if I’m feeling better. I love my kids.
In fact, one of them said “Mr. Eldred, I’m sorry you weren’t feeling well. I got you something that might help you feel better, or look forward to, anyway.”
That weather system did me in too. Massive headache last night. Feel better teach! Your kids are amazing!
