GalaxyCon Day 3: DEATH and Susan Sto Helit leave the Discworld and visit our own. But since humans see what they want to see, only a few recognize them. They find it so hot and uncomfortable they only stay a few hours, after which DEATH goes to Venice.
Fun Run Mike carbo-loads and eats more fettuccini and drinks less water than he ever has in his life. But it’s all for a good cause – Supporting the Rabid! Along the way he meets up with Jordan and Megan and sees Kate Flannery (Meredith Palmer), Creed Bratton, Leslie Baker (Stanley Hudson), & Catherine Tate (Nellie Bartram)!
On rare occasions Kinga Forrester (Felicia Day) leaves Moon 13 and brings Jonah Heston (Jonah Ray) to earth to meet their adoring fans (and further Kinga’s plan for world domination). Disguising myself as a Gizmonic Institute employee, I briefly gained access to their presence.

Most conventions nowadays are about geek/nerd culture in all its forms, not just anime, comics, or sci/fi.
The GalaxyCon name is new and is meant to indicate the wide variety found in fandom (a galaxy, if you will).
