The First Week of January 2021

It’s been a year all week, amirite?

Work has been busy this week with spring registration. Extended hours and days, plus added responsibilities due to changes within the department, have made for a long, exhausting week. But this week has also been evident that we’re a team, and my amazing coworkers helped me make it through.

I’ve managed to exercise this week, though it hasn’t been up to my training schedule. But something is better than nothing.

Of course, the USA seems to continue its descent into chaos, as insurrectionists invaded the capitol building. As more details emerge, I am more and more convinced that we narrowly escaped an even greater tragedy.

In happier news, Krystal and I celebrate our twelfth anniversary today. It’s hard to believe it’s been twelve years. I must say that any good change I’ve had is due entirely to her influence.
