What did I do this week?
Well, I went to a three-day teacher’s convention, where I managed to take pictures of my breakfasts:
I came back Friday; on Saturday a ran a 5k – my first official race in 2 years.
My head even made it into our local paper’s coverage of the event:
What did you do this week?

Don’t forget to follow me on:
Facebook – where I share news stories, articles from other blogs, and various and sundry miscellany that happens to catch my eye. It’s stuff you won’t see here! Well, mostly.
Instagram – where I show you my Life in Motion and share quotes and such. The widget only shows my last three photographs – don’t you want to see them all?
Twitter – where you can see my thoughts in 140 characters or less. Also, funny retweets.
Nice time on the 5K! Do you enjoy running more in the cooler weather?

Absolutely! I like the temps a bit cooler (55-65 F) with sunshine and perhaps a very light breeze. The next few weeks will be the best running weather of the entire year (in my opinion).

Agreed! I haven’t run much this year due to a lingering hamstring injury, but this is the best time of year for it. The cooler mornings have me tempted to bust out my running shoes and give it a go. Enjoy!

It also helps to have a running buddy. Sadly I don’t have one at the moment, but a coworker has expressed interest.

Those cups are the best; and I love the message on your banana. Congratulations on the run too – that’s an amazing effort. I can’t even be bothered running for my train when I’m late – I just walk slow and wait for the next one 🙂
